Hello,

I have one user who somehow managed to establish a local copy of the GAL on their workstation. Therefore, when they pull down the list of Address lists, they have two "Global Address Lists"- the local copy and the server copy.

When contacts are added/changed/deleted, the server version updates properly, but the local one does not. I know how to make the local copy update by downloading the GAL through Send/Receive, but thats not what I want. I want to simply delete the local copy off the workstation.

I deleted the user's .ost file and all other files in that same folder to no avail. When the user re-opens Outlook, the local GAL is still there.

Couldnt find anywhere to do this under Address Book properties, but it did go away after deleting the user's profile under control panel > mail.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions!
