Delete Inhibit flag keeps clearing

Hi,

I am having an issue where I go to set the "delete inhibit" attribute on a file and it doesn't take. Once I apply that change, go back into the properties the delete inhibit flag is set back to unchecked. This only happens with the WINNT Client32 v4.83SP1 software. The delete inhibt flag can be set with the Win98 client - but once the properties of that same file are viewed with the Win2k client the DI flag is set back to unchecked. Same thing with NWADMIN and Console One. Setting the attribute on folders works fine on folders, just not on files. I am running Netware 6 SP2. Any ideas? Thanks!

Can you change the flag on anonther box running WINNT Client32 v4.83SP1 or are all WINNT Client32 v4.83SP1 doing the same thing?

Try using the DOS shell comammnds as opposed to the explorer and see if that works. If so then it might be a client API thing (just on the one system) so back rev the client or on all systems maybe the SP1 I do recall SP1 for that client had some issues.
