Delete file in My Network Places

I have a file located in a library on our server. It is linked to My Network Places. I can go into explorer and delete the file and it is removed from the server. Does anyone know how to do this programmatically? I have found code to remove the link, but this is not what I want to do. I actually want it to delete the file from the server library.
Any help would be appreciated.
