Delete direct phone number going to extension 2

We have a direct phone number going to one Mitel 5330 phone extension. The line is not going through the receptionist. The person using the number has been abusing her privileges. Management wants to take away that direct line from her extension. How would I do that?

Using Mitel 3300 ICP

You can disable DID in a class of service

Give her a different class of service with Non-DID Extension enabled (yes)

Could you be a little more specific on how to do this? I have MSCIS in Computer Science but am a novice with the Mitel 3300 ICP.

All extns are assigned a class of service this is largely a set of features that different devices can use or not use

You will need to check the users class of service in the user configuration form
Once you know it you will need to go to the class of service form.
If your system has been programmed nicely then the installer would have labelled the CoS for you.
Select a blank CoS and then copy from the existing CoS but before you save disable the DID feature by selecing Yes then go back to the User Config form and assign the extn the new CoS
Simples!
