I am using access 97. My problem is that i am using a delete query to delete records. I call the query at a press of a button. I have a after delete confirm event that pops up a message to confirm that delete has taken place. The confirm option is also on in the options panel. But even then the message is not displayed. SetWarnings is true too.

Why is this happening?? Any suggestions??

Thanks

Laksh.

I'm having difficulty understanding what is happening. Could you post the VB code in the button On Click event and post the delete query? Maybe we could see something if we had the code to view.

You mentioned an "after delete confirm" event. Is that coded in your button module or elsewhere?

Have you tried running the query in the query designer to make sure it works? Terry

Hi Terry,

The delete confirm event is on the form. I am using a button click event to run the delete query. The delete query is a parameter query that gets its inputs from the form.

Now, I am also getting an error message once I press the delete button. The exact error message is

ODBC Delete on linked table 'logrecs' failed

Any ideas why.???? This is urgent....Thanks a ton
