Hi everyone,
I'm trying to delete an SLT extension from a port on an SV8100. To cut a long story short there have been phantom calls being made from ext 113 which is an SLT in a hotel bedroom, mainly to reception (to 0) but also to other hotel bedrooms. Unplugging the handset in the unoccupied room did not stop the calls. Only unplugging the cable from the port on the analogue card stopped it from happening. I'm not sure at this stage whether it's a fault on their cabling or a fault on the analogue card or something else, but it isn't the phone.
A colleague of mine asked me to delete the SLT extension from the system, as a test. I did so, removing the number and name, but it re-appears when the system is rebooted. Both the old extension number and the name are re-populated.
Is there some way of deleting an SLT from the system like I'm trying to do, please? I know you can delete an IP phone via UserPro or via handset programming but I've never had to delete an SLT before. Any guidance much appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave
