delete a directory 1

hi all

i am trying to delete a directory, which contains some files, using the command -
file delete -force $dirName

this command works file in all the case except one, where it gives the following error -
error deleting "dirName\fileName.wri" : permission denied

does anyone have any solution?

Hi

Maybe the given file is kept open by another process. In which case your script can do nothing, except killing that process and trying again.
