Hello,
i have not much experience with otm but i will try to describe my problem.
We are using a CS1000 with OTM 2.20
I try to Delete an entity from the CPND but i allways get the error SCH2119.
This entity is not assigned to a DN.

I tried it over a terminal session (ld 95) but i get the same error SCH2119.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Theo

That means you are not entering the DN correctly, make sure when you get the DN prompt you should be entering the DN of the users name you are trying to delete.

Post how you are trying to do the change and i will help accordingly.

to out a name from a dn make sure you are prting the DN and not an ACD

Hi ACooperman,

i am doint it exactly like you describe it. The DN is not a member of an ACD. And i am typing the DN number - definitely.. I am working some times over terminal so i am sure i am typing the right number.
Even if i use the PRT Request i get the same error.

Do you know if there exists a "force" method or something like this?

Do you have any ideas?

try this
LD 20
PRT
DNB

then enter the DN and tell me what you get.

ld 20
PT0000
REQ: PRT
TYPE: DNB
CUST: 0
DN 135
DATE

DES

SCH0881
NO ACT SINCE NO DATE

or if i type
DATE 27 OCT 2008

I get:
SCH0881
NO ACT SINCE 27 OCT 2008

I typed DATE like the form i get from the help file dd mmm yyyy

Is this helpful for you?

if you do goto
LD 20
PRT
TNB
*TN of the phone*

then post that here

that sounds like an invalid DN as you cant even PRT the information linked to it. is that a standard number on one of your users ?

Hi Acooperman,
the DN don't exists any more. I deleted it today morning. So the CPND entry is not assigned to any TN. But under "DN" i have a Number.

I did yet follow action and it worked:
I created a new station with this DN and configure it. After this i deleted this station.
On that way otm deleted the cpnd entry automaticaly!
Strange..

Thanks a lot for your help Acooperman.
Have a nice day.

Theo
