...We recently reconnected one of these units up in one of our small offices (only two M7310s currently in use) after taking it down for several days because of new construction in the switch room. Two days after plugging everything back in the two users notified me that they had to dial out very slowly or calls would get cut off. Even with the slow dialing, there is a 50/50 chance that the calls will not go through. Inbound calls are having no problems. Should I just have one of the people on site reboot the 8x24? I have never seen this problem before.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the KSU is pulse Dialing if that is the case check under line Programing.

What is the default password for getting into the administration from one of the M7310s and how would I get into line programming? This system was given to us by another agency. I am more familiar with the Avaya Definity PBXs and their programming.

Once again, any further assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I agree with Dtone that it sounds as if pulse dialing has been enabled. I have seen this happen on 8x24’s with power outages.
As for the programming; If you are not familiar with Norstar I would recommend that you call a qualified technician.

This system has completely defaulted to its original settings. You need a qualified vendor to reprogram ALL of it.
