A few months ago I asked why my paging tone on the IP sets is delayed when you press Feature 630. I discovered through BCM Monitor that the BCM pages all 29 IP ports on my system, thusly causes the delay.
By changing the Paging to Feature 632 and setting all the phones to zone 2 (I have 6 phones), the page tone comes on almost immediately without delay. This is particularly nice where there is a mix of digital an IP, as there is less of a delay between the 2.
I guess we are out of luck on a larger system though....the page tone would be delayed considerably with greater IP sets...
Has anyone else experienced this?
