As I get new email in outlook, i get the notification icon on my taskbar, but when i go to outlook, there is no new mail. Then, after anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour, the new email will appear. Closing and restarting outlook does not seem to have any effect as to how long it takes to receive the email. Any ideas as to why this is being held up? I'm running outlook 2000 on a Win 2000 Pro OS.
