Delayed Key Strkes When Using Word XP

When using MS Word XP and only MS Word XP, there is a delay in the key strokes when typing. I tried different key boards and uninstalled Office XP and then re-install it. I can inprove on this problem but nothing seams to be be total fix. This is A HP machine and I install a new keyboard driver. No fix.

Anyone have an Idea?
