Delayed Internal Emails

I am running dual domains which means I have two exchange servers, domainA.com and domainB.com

We have had some delayed emails between the two. Normally "if" we have delayed emails it was because our Barracuda was having issues but that has been resolved. (and between the two domain we were never delayed)

Any suggestions?

Do you have a specific SMTP connector sending email between the two? If both are on the inside of the Internet connection, no sense in the traffic going outside unless I've missed something.

One has does have a SMTP connector going to our Barracuda
No other SMTP is configure to either exchange boxes
