Delay when after clicking on links to Websites

Sometimes, but not all the time, there is a massive delay from the time i click on a hyperlink (within an email) to the time it takes to load - around 50 seconds'ish (its almost like IE stops responding)

Any ideas? It doesnt seem to matter if the link points to external or internal websites...

We are using Outlook 2003 \ Windows XP SP2

Any ideas!?
