I need a suggestion here:

I have incoming lines that appear on 15 sets on my site. 4 sets the lines are set to ring and appear. The rest of the DN's are appear only. Lines are used for both inbound and outbound calling. No T-1. Customer wants the calls to ring 5 times before rolling to the general mailbox. There is no hunting set up on these lines. What would be my quick and easy solution for this matter?

Thanks for your suggestions

set the call forward no answer to voicemail under capabilities on each extension.

Logon to the BCM and go to
services-----telephony services------System DNs------Active set DNS and select the phones you want to call forward to voicemail.

On a display phone dial feature 985 this will tell you your voice mail DN.

Enter this DN in the no answer parameter and press enter the answer delay for the call forward will appear set the delay and your job is done. I think you will have to settle for 4 or 6 rings. 4 rings is more like 5 rings for the outside caller, 4 at the phone and 1 before the call pilot answers the call.

Hope this makes sense

Marshall
