delay receiving emails in outlook with exchange 2003

Some of my users are experiencing delays in receiving emails. The envelope shows up but there is no new email for like 5 - 10 minutes or even longer. Does anyone know what is causing this issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Probably RPC latency - any errors appearing the the Exchange server log? Running low on server memory or disk speed?

Thanks for the reponse Zelandakh. I will check to see of there any delay or latency in the RPC.
