Delay on Layer show/hide

Hello there,

I have some links in a layer and onmouseover another layer shows, hiding the layer that was there before.

At the moment, the slightest movent of the mouse over the link brings up the layer and very quickly. Is there anyway to make the mouseover less sensetive? Also what is the simplest way to delay the layer showing so as to make everything a bit smoother - timelines seem rather codey.

BTW I have used the PVII extensions but cant on this site at the moment.
