Hello All,

I was wondering if it is possible in exchange 2003 to delay a message with more than 1000 (for example) recipients. I want to delay the messages till after work hours so bandwidth does not get consumed by large mailings.

help is greatly appreciated

At the SMTP virtual server, you can limt the number of recipients on a message, but there is no ability to defer messages with more than X recipients. At the SMTP Connector, you can defer oversize messages to be sent at a specific time, but not messages with more than X recipients.

I'd look to third party products to fill the gap. Possibly you message filter/Antivirus gateway can do this.

Thanks xmsre, thats unfortunately the answer I expected ;-)
