Delay in Transferring Call Externally

Hi there,

Hoping someone can shed some light on the below scenario:

1) Call comes into the MD110 PBX and goes to a voicemail box with menu options; 1 for English, 2 for Spanish.

2) Caller pushes 1

3) Call then goes to another voicemail box with more menu options; they push 2 to be monitor transferred externally to another number.

4) Call goes out an outgoing trunk line to carrier and then back into an ACD who is handling that number.

Problem is when the MD110 transfers it and the call comes to the ACD, the ACD starts playing its menu right away while MD110 has not transferred the call yet, so the customer is hearing silence while the ACD is thinking the customer is on the phone already. Then after a few seconds, the MD110 connects the customer and by that time the menu is half over.

Question, is there another way to do this external transfer so it does not monitor the transfer and just tranfer blind? If so, what would need to be setup on the MD110 side to get this accomplished? Thanks.

For this type of transfer, we always use blind transfer in the OneBox. Also for external calls, either through speed dialling (abbreviated calling) or direct CO numbers.

For some reason, blind transfer does not work. Call does not transfer.
