Hello,
We have a network consisting of 2000sbs and xp pro clients using office xp pro with outlook 2002. I have one user that when he clicks on any message in his inbox, it takes up to 10 seconds for the preview pane to switch to that message. It's as if the message is being scanned first. I've check all our other machines and the preview pane reflects an instant response when you click on messages. All the machines are set up the same as well. I've scanned for viruses, and looked for the telltale signs of the mydoom virus, but see nothing. This machine was working fine, and the problem started about the time mydoom hit, but as I stated, I can't see anything that leads me to believe the machine is infected. we are using Mcafee 7 with all the lastest.
Thank you in advance.
