Delay in Opening outlook Express.

I m using window 98 second edition with a P-IV computer,2.4 MHz and RAM of 512. My outlook express opens with a delay of two minutes. Please note that the computer does not hangs. in the mean time u can do u'r other jobs without any delay.I reinstalled outlook express. there is no emails.
Please helps me in this regards so that my outlook express opens quickly.

Click Tools, Options and remove the tick from the Send and Recieve message at startup and see if that cures it.
