delay in image loading

Hi friends,

I have created some roll-over images in my web page. when the site is online some images are loaded very faster while some specific images takes long time. The user has to keep the cursor continously on the image to see the roll over effects. The size of all the images are around 3kb. I am loading all the images on body onLoad. Why this is happening?

You'd probably be better asking this in the web designers forum but; are there any other large graphics on the page? For example something that might still be loading while you go and test your buttons?
