Delay Broker Load

I have NW6 SP3, and it was working fine until vertical market software was installed. Now , broker will not load automatically. If I wait 60 seconds, and then type in the parameters manually, it will work fine.
This is the last item ( along with NDPSM) in the autoexec.ncf.
Does anyone know of any way to delay (without additional user intervention) the loading of the Broker nlm?
