Delay at end of Voicemail Pro TTS

I have a VMP TTS speech action followed by a voice question action. The voice question plays a beep before it starts recording. There is an irritating pause of about 2.5 seconds between the end of the TTS and the beep.

The pause appears to be added by the VMPro speech action - it's not in the WAV file generated by the TTS and it's not in the start of the voice question action. I get the same pause if I put one speech action after another.

Anyone know how to get rid of it?

I seem to remember we had a Ticket on this and it was deemed non bug by AVAYA, it just seems this is the stardard delay when using TTS interface in VM Pro.
