Delay accessing network share Word 2000 under XP Pro

We have several machines on a network which have a 30 second or so delay when trying to open a file on a network share.

We use Word 2000 running on top of XP Pro and the server runs Windows 2000 Server.

Has anyone else had this problem?????

Have you installed all the ServicePacks for Windows 2000 Server?
