Our supplier tells me that the quickest that exchange can be set to auto download email from our outside email host is 15 minute intervals and the only way to do it more often is to "physically walk back to the server, go into the exchange system manager, then the pop3 connector, and tell it to download now".
It was recommended that we begin hosting our own email so we are real time but we should purchasing a spam filtering service which will cost us about $600.00 per year.
