defunct nsrd on Linux RedHat AS 2.1

I am having a problem getting nsrd to run on a RedHat Advanced Server install. nsrd keeps on hanging and when I run networker or jbconfig, it times out and cannot connect to NSR service. I was able to run jbconfig once, but I made a incorrect choice and need to run it again. I have tried removing Legato and reinstalling, but it didn't help.

Run an strace on nsrd and nsrexecd and post the results. Also, what version of Networker are you using?

Found the problem with strace. Thanks for the suggestion. It was that the IP of the system was different than the one in the hosts file. Problem resulved.
