Hi, we've got some errors in errpt about a filesystem being fragmented, and the recommended action is to run defragfs utility.
The filesystem is /opt, and it was 100% used (now it's 97%).
If I run this command, will this have some impact on the server or the applications running that are running? We've got some live apps, and I don't want to mess anything, shoould I wait til a maintenance window?

Thanks

defragfs might help reducing the fragments on the filesystem but if your system is heavily utilized (or production as in your case) i would prefer doing it after working hours to avoid preformance issues.

Regards,
Khalid
