Good morning, I am trying to come up with a script that I can use with Schedualer that automaticly defrags the local drives and puts a log file on a server

For Win2K there is a freeware utility by MorphaSys to use for this called AutoDefrag. I just checked and their site is under construction so you may need to wait a few days to get access to it or try to find a cached link on google.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
