I have a question about loudspeaker paging. Currently have a tac code of 34 to dial paging. Due to obscene comments they either want all phones restricted from dialing 34 or a new code or ext that only security can use. I imagine trying to restrict 600 phones is not the way to go. But I am not sure of my options. If I come up with a new tac code would I not have to change dial plan or ars if it is not in the 30's. I should say that they are using 30-36 now for different applications and I am hoping to change it to something they cant figure out. Thanks

TAC codes are just numbers, so any number in your dialplan that fits will work. so in your case this would probably be 30 through 39.
But you could also assign a free digit to DAC with for example 5 digits. Way harder to guess. If it's just a few people that should be able to use it, set up a COR to just allow their phones.
