Just use the Change Station Command, and change the station type to the 6408D. You will have a few more fields to adim for that station type, button assignments, etc.

A 6804d is a PDL interface modem. Do you mean 6408D phone.

Before you change the station type change the port to 'X'. Otherwise the switch will tell you the set type doesn't match the port.

Kevin is right. You would also have to change the physical port. Assumming that we aretalking about the 6408D phone.

When changing phone set types (rarely), I will usually delete the number with the old set type first, then add it back in by duplicating an existing type set within the same department/area. That way, I don't have to customize all of the feature buttons and softkeys.
