I recently integrated a Siemens PBX that is not IP enabled with CCM. I need to integrate a Definity G3 that it is IP enabled. Has any one done this? Do I need to create a trunk group with physical ports from a DS1 board?

Thanx!

Ken

If you are setting up TDM connections then yes, you will also need a signalling group.

Im not sure G3-CCM IP Trunking works, so it looks like TDM is the way to do this.

It does working kinda via IP, several integration issues which should be resolved in CCM v4.1

Personally I'd stick to PRI at this point in time

PRI and H.323 you must use the signalling group
