I have switch with one EPN. When I remove the EPN the expansion alarm occure and I can't clear it. Can someone halp to clear that alarm because I don't wont to use EPN anymore.

You must first remove the fiber links, both sets if operating with duplication

Thank's but can you be more specific about hoe to do that.

Vasko,

You need to know if your switch is a G3r or G3si.
With an G3r you will need to remove the fiber link.

Asuming you system is a G3si. And the EPN you want to remove had the Circuit Packs number like this: 2A01xx.
Do a "list station port 02" to make sure there are no translations in your EPN anymore.

Then give the command "change circuit-packs 2" and remove all translations for boards that where in the EPN.

Then remove the Expansion Interface in your PPN and with
the command "change circuit-packs 1" remove the translations for that circuit pack..

if your system is a G3r let us know cause then things are different

On the otherhand why do you want to remove the EPN, cause for load-balancing purposes it might be recommended to keep the EPN
