Definity carrier power supplies

Hello all,

If a carrier power supply fails, either A or B, do I have to power down the entire cabinet to replace it? Or just unplug it at the front power connection, unlock and remove?

It looks like the only difference between the two supplies are the pin placements at the center of the backplane connector, is that true?
