Hi,
I'm looking to set up a queue. I have 3 phones in a call group, and would like the 4th to go to a queue, with an announcement to the effect of "we're all busy, bla-bla-bla".

I've done this on a Merlin Legend with a DAU, but don't know how to do it in this situation.

The swicth is a Definity R9, no vectoring options, no VM.

Any thought?

The way I see it, unless we each conform, unless we obey orders, unless we follow our leaders blindly, there is no possible way we can remain free.

The way I have ours set is similar to what you are trying to do. I have an announcement pack with 2 announcements recorded. The first "thank you for calling" then about 30 seconds later "thanks for holding" and it repeats the last one about every 30 seconds until someone picks up that call. On the hunt group form you will need to set the queue length and on the 3rd page enter the announcements extension numbers and the delay (which is in seconds). That should get you up and running.

Question is do you have an announcement pack?

If you do then, on the hunt group form set to queue to “y”.
On page to enter the extension of your announcement on 1st announcement area,

Hope this helps.

I do have a TN750B board, if that'll do what I want.

Thanks everyone for your help

That board will work fine Kyle.
