Hi, can anyone tell me about the "call-appr Auto-A/D?"
feature. It seem to be an auto abbrv dial feature, but I would like to know how it works and why I cannot seem to get it as an option on my phone for testing the feature.

thanks

These are two seperate buttons.

The 'call-appr' is your system intercom (extension number) button. Generally you will have three of these. They are the buttons you make and receive calls on.

The Auto Dial button is a speed dial button.

Both types need to be programmed on your phone by your system administrator.

In the case of the AD button, it is associated with a personal, group or system speed dial list. Once the button is programmed (and associated to a personal list), the user is then able to program the speed dial number using the feature code or an AD program button.

Actually I already new that they were seperate keys, but in this case they are the same key in combination. It is in version 11 and this is a new feature I am having trouble getting documentation on. The feature is all one line, not seperate in this case and reads
" 1. call-appr Auto-A/D? n Rg:r
