Hello all,

I need to set up modem access (INADS line?)into an old Prologix system. Does a TN760 circuit pack need to be in the system or was there another way?

tn760 is a 4-wire tie line circuit pack

I've got the CLAN working so no problem there.

The US Robotics modem-would that be one of the old ones that had DIP switches to set parameters?

Connected to a standard analog line port?

Robotics 839 Modem switch 3 and 8 are the only ones in the down position.

&F1 = Hardware flow control template
&H1 = Hardware flow control, Clear to Send (CTS)
&K0 = Data compression disabled
&M0 = Normal mode, error control disabled

S0 Sets number of rings on which to answer in Auto Answer mode. When set to
0, Auto Answer is disabled.

S7 Sets number of seconds modem waits for a carrier.
May be increased as needed, for example to allow modem
time to establish an international connection.

S12 Sets duration, in fiftieths of a second, of guard time for
escape code sequence (+++).
