Definity AUDIX "press 1 bypass"

Does anyone know if you can turn off the feature of pressing 1 to bypass someones main greeting? We are having issues with clients pressing 1 to bypass the message, when people are on vacation?

I'm not sure you can put it off but if you program the mailbox as "auto-attendant" or as "none" you can trick them.

Would this make the mailbox reset? Do i need to start from scratch or can i make the change now? I am concerned seeing this is our CEO.

You can make the change now and there will be no loss of the CEOs current messages or greetings. So, IOW, you will not reset the box.
