Hi all,

I'm attempting to connect a DEFINITY system with an asterisk machine over an H.323 trunk, and I'm having a bit of a time finding docs on how to do it exactly. Right now, I've got the following config in ooh323.conf:

[general]
bindaddr=0.0.0.0
faststart=yes
h245tunneling=yes
callerid=asterisk
gatekeeper = DISABLE
context=default
disallow=all ;Note order of disallow/allow is important.
allow=gsm
allow=ulaw
allow=g729
allow=g723
dtmfmode=rfc2833
[avaya]
type=friend
context=from-internal
ip=1.2.3.4 ; Real IP of DEFINITY is here
port=1720
disallow=all
allow=alaw
rtptimeout=60
dtmfmode=rfc2833
canreinvite=no

Also, Ive got the config that matches here with a couple of exceptions:

I dont have supplementary service protocol set to 'b' either of the places its supposed to be set to that, because I dont have QSIG enabled in customer-options. I had a question about that too, can I enable QSIG without taking the entire phone system down?

Also, I dont have the 'IP' option under Carrier Medium on the trunk group page, so I just set it to H.323. Is there a way to get this to work with H.323, or do I need the IP services pack to get it to work?

Can anyone give me a hint as to why this isn't working (except for my mangled configuration?). I do see some H323 errors in the error logs on the Definity, but without the error code reference I havent the slightest what they mean.

So basically, I havent any clue what I'm doing :)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
