Greetings all,

Can anyone tell me what the 'in DE pkts' statistic means for the 'sho frame pvc' command? I have had problems with a frame circuit at one of my remote locations with dropped packets! Got that fixed, then noticed there were a lot of 'in DE Pkts', compared this remote to a similar remote, and did not see any of those! I am sure the answer is simple, it has been a few years since my cisco academy days though;)

Thanks in advance!

In DE packets would be "Discard Eligable"
so its a congestion control mechanism within the frame network. you are probably fed by T1 with a CIR that is lower so as soon as there is congestion on the circuit youre DE marked packets should be dropped.
