Deferred constraint

Hi
Im new in Oracle World and even more new
in MS Sql-Server 7.0 .

I want SQLServer not to check the validity of a
constraint until the transaction is committed.

it is veruy useful for DML sentences against related tables
when you can not guarantee the order of the SQL-sentences inside the transaction.

You might be able to use ALTER TABLE with the NOCHECK CONSTRAINT option. Robert Bradley
