Hi All,
I have a customer who is moving from BT Hosted to Daisy Hosted.
I have managed to re-provision most of the handsets (VVX500) to the new platform fine.
However I have one handset that took the upgrade and loaded up however it is not connecting to daisy.
I have spoke to daisy who said it needs defaulted however I need the password (which they don't have, neither do I) to default it.
Apparently it can be done with the MAC address however this dosen't seem to work either.....
Anyone had any experience with this?

If you know what the user password is (default is 123) then you can access admin level, even if you don't know what the admin password is. Like Wanebo states, the default admin password is 456.

If 456 doesn't work, access the phone with a web browser, enter in the user password. Go the the logs and clear them all out. Reboot the phone. Log back in with the user pwd and go to the log, go through the logs and look the Authentication ID - this is the admin pwd. log out and and log back in as admin with the admin password that you found in the log. Now you can do whatever you want to that phone.

Hi Thanks for the replies
Once the phone was updated to Daisy's system the default password and user password changes.
It is also non accessible through the web browser once this has happened.
Basically there is no way of logging into the phone as Daisy said they can't and BT who run their system refuse to give out passwords
It appears the phone might be more of a £200 paper weight now than anything else.....
