I want to default a specific username into the Seagate Info (Info Desktop) username prompt when logging into Seagate Info. Is there a .ini file that I can do this in? It now defaults to the user's network username which is different than their Seagate Info user name.

Thanks in advance,
Bessebo

bessebo: Try setting (thro the Info Administrator/Passwords) to Unified NT Login - make sure you check that Administrator is a valid Info Admin before you accept!!!!

Fire up the desktop - this should show Unified NT Logon as the default setting and reveal the user Id used to access the client. Cancel out and go back to the Info Administrator. Change back to Specified User and accept (double check on Administrator user) and when you next fire up the desktop the option should be reset back to Specified User and the User ID should be blank - this assumes that the machine login ID does not match a valid Info user ID in the system database.
