Hello all... Happy new year and the best for everyone in 2020
I have a client that has a BCM50 with a expansion cabinet that is refurbished. It currently has 4 digit DN's but I want to take it to default so that through BEM I have 3 digit DN's starting at 221. Of course I don't want to loose any key codes or software so how do I bring it to a state that allows me to "start over" from scratch as if the unit was starting up as a new unit?
As always, much appreciated the suggestions and information extended.

You can go to one of these 2 as your best choices:
Option 1-Admin/Utilities/Reset/Cold Reset (best if just wiping out telephony and callpilot)
Option 2-Admin/Backup&Restore, Restore, Restore from:Factory Default, OK and/or Yes, check what you want restored then Restore.

Change DN length in case needed would be Telephony/DialingPlan/General/
When you change the DN length on a live running system and need to keep set programming you will have to use option 2 and check only "Callpilot Configuration" and re-program it from scratch.
