Default VMWARE FTP User Name and Password

Does anyone know what the default user name and password for VMWARE ESX ftp is?

there is no default ftp user name and password, you must use the user account that you create in the ESX Server.

hey Chacalinc, thanks for the reply but i did try that and it didn't work... i can log in to the console using that username and password but am unable to ftp to the esx server with it.. adn i did try many times....

did you enable the ftp service? it's disabled by default.

when? when are you trying to connect to it via ftp?
