Hi all,
i have 2 different vlan (without ips)and i am trying to put a server link as member in each vlan.
i do the perform tagging option, but can not ping the server from vlan1 if the sever link default_vlanid=2.
if i change it to the 1 it works put the other vlan face the problem.
so i can't ping a server from a vlan unless the default_vlanid is the same vlan id that i make the ping from.

how i can ping the server from 2 different vlans which the server is member in each, at the same time?

You need to configure the server to support 802.1q (trunk) frames. How you'll do that will generally depend on the hardware manufacturer and NIC driver. Once you've done that you'll need to configure the operating system with a different IP address for each VLAN.

Cheers!
