Default User Profile Access Denied

On some of the workstations, when logged in as Administrator, i cannot rename the default user profile. Directory rights are ok. On other workstations the renaming of default user profile works.
What could be the problem?

You could try an hard reboot then log in straight as administrator, and try to rename it then.
I'll thunk some more too.
