Hi,

The server guys are in the process of preparing me a win2003 server with Crystal Enterprise 10. In their cover document, it says to install SQL server with the default password, but does not say what the password is. I do not have the documentation here. All I found online is that SQL has an account called sa with no password, is this what I require or is there another password we should enter?

Thank you,
Phil

You probably want to put some sort of password on the SA account (that's a gawduss-like account).

I believe that the issue is simply that you KNOW the password.

ohh, thanks. From what the fellow told me, the installation document only says to install SQL server with the default password.

It does install as a component of CE10. I believe the QA people write up the installation document or might be someone here... either way, I told him to stick a password in there that I know so once I start using CE10, I will see what happens.
