I have 6 email address's, 5 of which are all alias's on one account, the sixth being a separate account altogether. My problem is, whenever I click to REPLY to an e-mail, it randomly picks an alias to send it from. I have to manually select the one I DO want to send from and then send it. It's fine for sending e-mail normally, as it always picks the default address, it only happens when I reply. Also, is there a way of sorting what order the drop down list of e-mail address shows. In internet accounts, the SET ORDER box is greyed out.

If you have an email account setup for each alias, then there is an option

Tools >email accounts > View or change Email accounts > next > select and account > Change ... > More Settings (button) > General (tab) > Reply E-mail (text box)

you enter the Alias1@yourdomain in this box > OK >Cancel.

Having set up each alias as an account with the corresponding reply to, then if you
send mail using that account and people reply to you using the alias or even address an email to the alias directly, WHEN YOU REPLY, it will use as the From the address that the email was addressed to.

Of course when you just send a new message you should pick from the Accounts drop down menu (Next to the send button) the alias account you want to send from. Then when someone replies it is to the alias account and if you reply it will be from the alias account and so on...

I hope that made sense X-)
The two rules for success are:
1. Never tell them everything you know.

Sorry mate. Should have perhaps mentioned that I use OE 6. I only get :-
Tools / Accounts and then each of my accounts is listed, with just :-
Add
Remove
Properties
Set as Default
Import
Export
And at the bottom, a greyed out "SET ORDER" box

Unfortunately, there is no Return E-mail option dialogue.

What's happening is, say someone sends an e-mail to account1, I click reply, and more often than not, the address OE6 has chosen to reply from is NOT the one the original message was sent to !
I have had this problem throughout IE 5, 5.5 & 6, even after format/reinstalls etc. I'm sure I'm overlooking something simple, unless it's micro$ofts way of limiting the features of it's freeware stuff.
