In a multi-user environment with Peachtree Complete 2008, Peachtree seems to be "remembering" the last printer used for specific forms and then automatically having other users print to that same printer by default.
This is unwanted behavior because we have multiple people printing Purchase Orders. Instead of the user's purchase order printing out on the printer closest to them, it prints out on the last printer used to print a purchase order. If a user selects the printer closest to them, and then prints the purchase order, all further purchase orders printed by *anybody* will go to that printer as well.
We could remove access so the users don't see the other printers, but we do need them to be able to print to other printers from time to time.
I would expect that peachtree would remember the last printer used on a *per user* basis, and not globally like it seems to be doing.
So my question is, is this a feature, a bug, or a setting somewhere that needs to be adjusted? I can't find anything in the documentation for this behavior.
thanks!
